Research Assistant ‘Nanoparticles in Light Emitting Electrochemical Cells’
Joint initiative, OSRAM GmbH and the Faculty of Engineering, University Duisburg-Essen.
The position is limited to a period of 3 years with the intention of achieving a PhD degree.
Central goal of the research project is the implementation of nanomaterials into light emitting electrochemical cells for device improvement.
This position is associated to a Junior Research Group ‘Solid State Lighting’ established in 2012 in a joint initiative between OSRAM GmbH and the University Duisburg-Essen. The research activities will be predominantly performed at OSRAM GmbH, Augsburg, in a close collaboration with the University Duisburg-Essen.
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented engineer / physicist / chemist with a strong interest in application oriented research and experience preferably in one or more of the following areas:
- Light emitting electrochemical cells and/or organic light emitting or photovoltaic devices
- Nanomaterials and/or nanotechnology
- Electrochemistry or physical chemistry
- Characterization and/or simulation of light emitting devices
